Margaret Cosgrove, Plant Propagator

Margaret received her B.S. in Earth Science from UC Santa Cruz in 2000, and is studying for a Certificate in Landscape Horticulture at Merritt College in Oakland.  A native plant enthusiast, she is an active member of the California Native Plant Society and a docent at the Regional Parks Botanic Garden in Tilden Park, Berkeley

Margaret learned of The Watershed Nursery (TWN) while working as an analyst in the creek restoration field.  Margaret’s specialty focuses on potting up seedlings and helping customers.  She sees that each plant is individually cared for and handled with delicacy, resulting in a strong and healthy plant. Margaret enjoys the pivotal role she holds in growing healthy, native plants to further increase biodiversity in the Bay Area. She invites everyone to visit The Watershed Nursery to relax in the scenery, laugh with the friendly staff, and support the creation of native plant landscapes.
