Thomas Meyer, MD, Field Crew Supervisor

Tom has come to Restoration  Ecology as a second career after leaving his medical practice to be a stay-at-home dad. He has taken courses in native plants at Cal and  through Golden Hour Restoration. He is also the founder of the East Bay Green Parks Association, an affiliate group of Berkeley Partners for Parks, dedicated to eradication of non-native plants in East Bay public spaces. His main interest is in riparian restoration. He and his wife are in the process of doing long-term restoration work on their twenty acre dream property in Mendocino county.
